Blog 2 Caroline Quesada

Caroline Quesada Spc-2608        I did not contribute to any of the chapter powerpoints even though I am one of the class leaders. The three group class powerpoints were instead what Drew and I viewed and made notes on. For each individual presentation, we worked with the groups as well. To each of the powerpoint presentations, we included an opening and a conclusion. As a result, we were able to participate in the groups while simultaneously serving as support and guidance for them. I took content from all three of the lectures and utilized it straight in one blog post. I'll talk about what I learnt and what I think each group did well when they gave their presentations. This series of talks focused on universal happiness.Upon completion of all presentations, they were all shortened to around eight minutes apiece and delivered in a symposium.      Group One discussed the topic of happiness in general and focused particularly on happiness in the family...

Caroline Quesada SPC-2608    I didn't work on any of the chapter powerpoints despite being one of the class' leaders. I chose to view and take notes on the three group class powerpoints with my fellow class leader Drew. Also, we worked closely with the groups on each individual presentation. Each powerpoint presentation included an opening and a conclusion. This gave us the opportunity to participate in the groups while also serving as a resource and advisor. I included details from all three of the talks directly into my blog article. I'll talk about what I discovered as well as what each group's presentations impressed me with. Our whole textbook was covered in just three group presentations. They all did an excellent job with their powerpoint presentations, and I thought the information they provided was really valuable and necessary to hear. Chapters one through four were covered in the first group. In a sense, this was a thorough exploration of the concept of pu...

Blog 2 Drew Altman

As one of the leaders of this class I did not work on any of the chapter powerpoints. Instead, Caroline and I watched and took notes on the three group class powerpoints. We also collaborated with the groups for each separate presentation. We added an introduction and a conclusion to each of the powerpoint presentations. This allowed us to be part of the groups while also just being there to help and give advice. In writing this blog post, I used information directly from all three of the presentations. I will discuss what I learned as well as what I thought each group did well in their presentations. This set of presentations was on happiness all around. After all the presentations were done they were then cut down to be about eight minutes each and presented at a symposium.  Group one presented on happiness all around and specifically focused on happiness in family and happiness in a fun social life. They discussed homelessness and specifically homelessness in college stud...

Instead, I, along with my other cl ass leader Caroline, watched and took notes on the three group class powerpoints. We also collaborated with the groups for each separate presentation. We added an introduction and a conclusion to each of the powerpoint presentations. This allowed us to be part of the groups while also just being there to help and give advice. In writing this blog post, I used informati on directly from all three of the presentations. I will discuss what I learned as well as what I thought each group did well in their presentations. These three group presentations covered our whole textbook. The information they gave was really helpful and important to hear, and I believe they all did a wonderful job with their powerpoints.  The first group covered chapters one through four. This was essentially a deep dive into the idea of public speaking. This group discuss...
